Daya is surprised to see Jethalal, Champaklal and Tapu together as she believed Champaklal had gone to his native place. Daya makes plans to celebrating her 25th wedding anniversary. Jethalal gets irked with her galling behaviour. Daya wants to take Jethalal to a social convention, but he wants to rest at home. She gets suspicious as Jethalal pretexts with her saying he wants to enjoy the Sunday with his friends. Tapu's friends reach at home while Jethalal is resting. He tries to scare them away. Meanwhile, Babita reaches there and Jethalal gets scared of someone catching them together alone in the house. Let's watch what Jethalal will do now. The show is inspired from the famous humorous column 'Duniya Ne Undha Chasma' written by the eminent Gujarati writer Mr. Tarak Mehta. This story evolves around happenings in "Gokuldham Co-operative Society" and covers topical issues which are socially relevant. The show predominantly revolves around 'Jethalaal' (Dilip Joshi) who is an uneducated Gujarati businessman. Your 'Taarak Mehta' (Sailesh Lodha), is his neighbour. 'Jethalaal' finds a friend and philosopher in 'Taarak Mehta' and often goes to him for advice whenever he is in trouble. Jethalaal's family includes his simpleton wife 'Daya Ben' (Disha Wakani) and a mischievous son 'Tapu' (Bhavya Gandhi). Tapu is a menace and a constant source of trouble to all the members of Gokuldham. They have often warned 'Jethalaal' to reform 'Tapu' or else be prepared to leave the premises ...

@akkifans hey yeeah even i had read in the Wiki of this serial that its a set of wooden walls attached to real flats hmm but you knw if you r watching the latest episodes i guess they are now giving the society a new look by renovating ,, i hope they dont change much coz i loveee Gokuldham structure

yes set is different but makers are quite dumb..they build real gokuldham society but for kitchen..they go to different set which i think probably in another apartment…when you see the kitchen of jethalal house, look in the window, you will see other apartments which make no sense because angle is totally different and like you said there is no second door except bathroom in jethalal’s room
